What is Letybo Neurotoxin?

Letybo is an FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A injectable, similar to other well-known neurotoxins like Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau®. It works by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles that cause wrinkles and fine lines, resulting in smoother, more refreshed-looking skin.

How do neuromodulators work?

Letybo blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to expression lines. Letybo relaxes the muscles so they do not contract.

The results of each treatment vary and are dependent on each individual case.

Is it painful?

Although any injection can hurt, the needles used for Letybo are so small that the procedure is generally pain free. If you are concerned about discomfort, we can apply a topical numbing cream or a cold pack 10-20 minutes before administering your treatment. You will notice results within 7-10 days for moderate to severe frown lines, with results lasting 3-4 months.

Is there any downtime?

Letybo has virtually no downtime and can truly be considered a “lunchtime prodecure.” Occasionally, some redness and minimal bruising can occur after treatment; however, patients who follow our post care guidelines usually do not experience any of these.

• Taking blood thinners such as Aspirin, Aleve, Advil, Motrin, Fish Oils, Vitamin E and A or consuming alcoholic beverages may increase the risk of bruising. Consult with a physician before stopping any medications
• Discontinue retinols 2 days prior to treatment
• Plan before 1 week of any major events in the event you bruise

• Avoid wearing makeup for at least 4 hours after injections
• Stay in a vertical position and avoid lying flat for at least 4 hours after injections
• Avoid touching or massaging the treatment area. Moving your facial muscles can through expressions will help the product absorb and disperse faster
• Do not exercise or engage in strenuous activity or 24 hours after treatment
• Do not receive facials, laser treatments, and microdermabrasion for 7-10 days after injections
• Although some people react quicker to certain neurotoxins, the full effect of your treatment will take between 10-14 days
