The cost of a dermal filler treatment will vary from patient to patient depending on the areas treated and the amount of product needed for correction. Pain felt during the treatment can vary from person to person depending on their sensitivity. Restlyane & Juvederm products contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, within the product itself in order to help reduce discomfort during and after treatment. We also uses a topical numbing cream on all patients to alleviate any discomfort felt during the procedure.
Ultimately, most patients consider Restylane injections and Juvederm injections painless. After having the filler injections, the patient should hold an icepack to the area for about 15 minutes to reduce possible swelling.
After Restylane treatment or a Juvederm treatment or an RHA filler treatment, there can be slight redness and swelling at the injection site. This is a very normal side effect of the injections and the inconvenience is temporary. If it does occur, it generally goes away within a day or two.
