What do I avoid prior to treatment?
Before the treatment discontinue prescribed topical medication and any kind of retinoids or active products.
After the treatment, you will be given post treatment education on products to use at home. It is utmost important to wear a high broad spectrum SPF to protect your skin from sun damage and maintain best results
• Keep your skin hydrated before and after treatment
• Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before treatment
• Do not use exfoliating products 24 hours before treatment
• Avoid retinols or active skin products 7 days before treatment
• Avoid tanning beds and self-tanner 14 days before treatment
• Immediately after your treatment, your skin may be more sensitive than usual. Use tepid water for the initial 24 hours to wash your face
• You may use a gentle cleanser 24 hours after treatmentÂ
• Avoid makeup for 48 hours after treatment
• A broad-spectrum SPF may be applied after 24 hours. Continue to use sunscreen for 2 weeks after treatment and avoid sun exposure if possible Â
• Keep the skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer
