Fillers
At SkynnGen Medical Spa, our expert team uses hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Juvéderm, Restylane, and RHA to treat volume loss, reduce wrinkles, enhance lips and give patients a natural, more youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) holds the key to smooth, hydrated skin. As we age, our skin loses HA due to aging, sun exposure, stress, pollution, and other factors, causing the skin to lose structure and volume and creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds. Our dermal fillers are specifically designed to target these signs of aging. When injected, these fillers can correct lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth, hollowed-out cheeks, and thin lips.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the RHA Collection?
RHA Fillers are a newer FDA Approved line of dermal fillers. Â RHA Fillers are designed for “dynamic” facial movement. RHA has 4 different formulations that combine strength and stretch. Each one adds volume and is designed for different needs in specific areas of the face including lips, cheeks, chin, smile lines, under eyes, or jawline.Â
The results of each treatment vary and are dependent on each individual case.Â
What is Restylane?
As a result of the aging process, less hyaluronic acid are produced. In turn, the skin starts to form wrinkles. Restylane fillers work to replenish the skin with hyaluronic acid, thus adding moisture and volume back into the skin. One of the most significant benefits of Restylane is that it is biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid, therefore eliminating post treatment reaction concerns
The results of each treatment vary and are dependent on each individual case.
What is Juvederm?
JUVÉDERM® is the #1 chosen dermal filler collection in the US that offers 6 unique and long-lasting fillers. Each one adds volume and is designed for different needs in specific areas of the face including lips, cheeks, chin, smile lines, under eyes, or jawline.Â
The results of each treatment vary and are dependent on each individual case.
Is it painful?
Pain felt during the treatment can vary from person to person depending on their sensitivity. Restlyane & Juvederm products contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, within the product itself in order to help reduce discomfort during and after treatment. We also uses a topical numbing cream on all patients to alleviate any discomfort felt during the procedure.
Ultimately, most patients consider Restylane injections and Juvederm injections painless. After having the filler injections, the patient should hold an icepack to the area for about 15 minutes to reduce possible swelling.
Is there any downtime?
After Restylane treatment or a Juvederm treatment or an RHA filler treatment, there can be slight redness and swelling at the injection site. This is a very normal side effect of the injections and the inconvenience is temporary. If it does occur, it generally goes away within a day or two.
Pre-treatment for dermal fillers
• Plan 1-2 weeks before a major event as you may bruise or swell
• Avoid medications such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Fish Oil, Vitamin E and A, and consuming alcoholic beverages as this may increase bleeding and bruising. Consult with a physician before stopping any medications
• You may start Arnica tablets 3 days prior to help minimize bruising and may continue 3-5 days after injections
• If you have a history of cold sores, notify our office before your appointment so our provider can prescribe cold sore medication
• No vaccines 2 weeks before or after your appointment. No dental work of any kind 2 weeks before or after
