How long does treatment take?

PicoLazer tattoo removal treatments are quick, with each session only lasting between 10-20 minutes.

Will my tattoo removal hurt?

PicoLazer is designed to deliver comfortable treatments, while reducing recovery time. The laser treats the tattoo as evenly and precisely as possible to eliminate hot spots and promote natural healing.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

The number of treatments needed varies depending on each patient’s desired outcome. During your consultation, our specialists will be able to determine your treatment plan.

Is the PicoLazer safe?

PicoLazer’s ultra-fast pulse duration provides a minimal amount of heat. Less heat means less damage to surrounding skin and less risk of injury.

• No spray tanning 2 weeks before treatment
• Shave the area prior to treatment. Do not pluck or wax the area
• If you are on antibiotics, Accutane, and/or chronic medications causing photosensitivity, please let the provider know ahead of time. This could delay the treatment

• Immediately following the treatment, the area may have frosting. Redness and swelling are typical. Blisters and pinpoint bleeding may occur
• The dressing applied is to be in place for 24 hours post treatment
• Avoid a hot shower, swimming, saunas, and hot tubs until the treated area is healed
• Keep a thin layer of antibiotic ointment on the treated area
• A cool compress may be applied immediately after treatment. You may also take Tylenol if needed
• Avoid picking or scratching at the treated area. Apply sunscreen and avoid excessive sun exposure
