HALO Laser
Have you heard of the Halo glow? After you have undergone Halo laser skin resurfacing, you will experience smoother, brighter, and more radiant skin that last and lasts!
The Halo by Sciton is a Hybrid Fractional laser that combines ablative and non-ablative energy wavelengths to stimulate new skin cell and collagen production. Halo’s precise, adjustable beam placement allows our providers to fine-tune microscopic treatment zones. This allows for unparalleled improvement in the look and feel of mature and sun-damaged skin. The Halo laser can be calibrated for each individual patient’s aesthetic goals and can target many areas, including the face, neck, chest, hands and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to recover from a HALO laser treatment?
The length of time it takes to recover from a Halo laser treatment varies from patient to patient because of the customizable nature of the treatment. Generally, patients see four to seven days of social downtime where skin will appear more red than normal, with improvements becoming visible between five and seven days.
How often do I need to get a HALO treatment?
The number of initial treatments needed to meet your desired results depends upon the state of your skin and the goals you want to reach. However, once those goals are achieved you should only need maintenance Halo treatments every 12 to 18 months.
What kind of benefits can I expect from a HALO laser facial?
Halo is one of the most effective laser skin resurfacing treatments in the industry. This means you can expect to enjoy dramatically smoother, tighter skin with smaller pore size, brightened dullness, more even skin tone, diminished lines and a radiant, lit-from-within glow in the weeks and months following your treatment.
What is the benefit of applying ablative and non-ablative treatment at the same time?
In non-ablative treatments, we heat a column of skin called a microthermal treatment zone. After, patients see small packets of “debris” rise to the surface as the regenerated tissues push damaged tissue up and out. Adding ablation removes some of the tissue that would otherwise necrose near the surface, eliminating the formation of those packets of debris. This allows the skin to heal more quickly.
Pre-treatment for HALO
• Avoid excessive sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to treatment
• Avoid dermal fillers and neurotoxins 2 weeks prior to treatment
• Discontinue exfoliating agents (retinols, glycolics/salicylic acids) 5 days prior to treatment
Post-treatment for HALO
• Redness is normal and expected
• Pinpoint bleeding may occur
• Immediately after treatment, swelling is common and expected. Especially under the eyes. To further avoid swelling, it may be beneficial to sleep with your head elevated with extra pillows
• The treated area may be warm 12-24 hours after treatment. You may apply cool compresses after treatment
• Avoid hot showers at least 48 hours post treatment
• Itching may be experienced during the healing phase and is completely normal. Avoid picking or scratching the skin. You may take antihistamines to help with the itching
